Mary Lindsey

My Wire Fox Terrier, Fig (Go Figure), sat on my feet the entire time I wrote Shattered Souls.
She was the inspiration for Alden's dog, Spook.
Fig passed away the week before Shattered Souls sold to Penguin. She was 17 years-old.
In honor of her love and loyalty, and the special place pets hold in my heart, I dedicated Shattered Souls to her,

Some sweet readers have sent pictures of the book with their pets and in fun places.
I'd love to post your picture of Shattered Souls on this page too!
Please send me an email through the contacts page and I'll let you know how to send it.

For you, Fig.
